🇯🇵 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝟓 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬. 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲?

🇬🇧 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝟓 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬, 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬!

During an exchange at 𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, NCHU student Tai experienced a unique class challenge: switching between Japanese and English every five minutes during discussions. 🗣️

The experience also extended beyond the classroom—from visiting a cattle farm to observe Japanese Black cattle to learning how volcanic ash can affect something as simple as a bicycle lock. 🐄🌋 Each challenge became part of learning how to communicate, adapt, and live independently abroad.

🌋 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨?

🇬🇧 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐚𝐠𝐲𝐮 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬

During an exchange at 𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, NCHU student Li experienced the unique details of everyday life in Kagoshima—from regularly cleaning volcanic ash out of a bicycle lock to switching between Japanese and English every five minutes during class discussions. 🌋

The experience also connected directly with Li’s academic interests through a visit to a cattle farm arranged by a professor, offering a firsthand look at Japanese Black cattle and local livestock practices. 🐄

🇩🇪 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲: 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝!

🇬🇧 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬
