「有些夢想，不是消失了，只是在等待我們重新拾起。」
來自臺中樂團 「等阮返來」 的主唱——廖學民，同時也是智慧媒體學程的老師。
一路走來，他曾參與過不同樂團，也在人生不同階段面對各種課題。直到遇見一群同樣熱血、喜愛音樂的夥伴，讓他重新找回心中那份已經沉寂的熱情。
如今，廖學民老師不僅持續投入音樂創作與演出，也將自身的音樂、創作與媒體實務經驗帶進智慧媒體與創新科技應用學士學位學程，與學生分享創作的熱情與實踐的力量。
在智慧媒體學程，我們相信——
專業，不只是課本裡的知識；創意，也不只是停留在想像。
從媒體、音樂、影像到數位科技，鼓勵學生勇於探索、跨域創作，將自己的想法轉化為真實的作品。

“Some dreams never truly disappear; they are simply waiting for us to pick them up again.”
The lead vocalist of the Taichung-based band “等阮返來” — Professor Liao — is also a faculty member of the Intelligent Media and Innovative Technology Applications Program (IMITA).
Throughout his journey, Professor Liao has been part of several bands and has faced different challenges at various stages of his life. It was not until he met a group of passionate friends who shared his love for music that he rediscovered the passion he had once set aside.
Today, Professor Liao continues to pursue music creation and live performances. He also brings his experience in music, creative production, and media practice into the classroom, sharing his passion for creativity and the power of turning ideas into reality with his students.
At IMITA, we believe that
professional knowledge is more than what is found in textbooks, and creativity is more than an idea in your imagination.
From media, music, and visual production to digital technology, we encourage students to explore, create across disciplines, and transform their ideas into real-world works.
