「反覆轉換的形態與存有和不存有之間，
浮動的、動態的、不確定的、
混亂的、抽離的、轉換的……
空間過渡了各自獨立的狀態。」
《過渡空間》展覽不刻意定義過渡空間之名詞，而讓六位參展藝術家經由個自作品探討及發展對過渡空間想像與實踐。創作主題包含心理、視覺、身體性空間，過渡一詞可延伸至材質的過渡狀態、創作過程中心靈層面的過渡狀態，及觀者理解作品的過渡狀態等。透過纖維的材料、技術、觀念作為媒介，由藝術家體現於各自的創作中。

《啪嗒啪嗒──關於過渡空間的提問與思辨講談》

本次講談希望邀請觀眾一同參與提問與思辨。
「過渡空間」既指涉物理上的移動與停留，也延伸至心理、關係、身份與時間中的曖昧狀態。我們嘗試透過纖維、裝置、身體與材料實驗等創作形式，思考人在各種「尚未抵達」與「正在改變」之中的感受。
活動中，藉由輪流回答的形式，參與者將能針對藝術家的創作、展覽，以及自身對「過渡」的經驗提出問題與分享

“Between repeatedly shifting forms, between being and non-being,
fluid, dynamic, uncertain,
chaotic, detached, transforming...
space transitions through states that are each independently defined.”
Rather than imposing a fixed definition of the term transitional space, the exhibition “Transitional Space” invites six participating artists to explore and develop their own interpretations and practices through their individual works. The themes of the exhibition encompass psychological, visual, and bodily spaces. The notion of transition extends to transitional states of materials, the mental transformations that occur throughout the creative process, and the shifting states through which viewers come to understand the artworks. Through fiber-based materials, techniques, and concepts as artistic mediums, each artist embodies these ideas in their own creative practice.

This artist talk invites audiences to participate in a shared process of questioning and reflection.
“Transitional space” refers not only to physical movement and moments of pause, but also to ambiguous states within psychology, relationships, identity, and time. Through creative practices involving fiber art, installation, the body, and material experimentation, we seek to contemplate the human experience of being in states of “not yet arrived” and “currently transforming.”
During the event, participants will be invited to ask questions and share their own experiences of “transition” through a rotating discussion format. The conversation will center on the artists’ works, the exhibition, and personal reflections on what it means to exist within transitional states. ♡⌯'ᵕ'⌯
