On Sunday, January 11, 2026, the brothers of the Albany (GA) Alumni Chapter held our annual Founders’ Day Observance at Albany State University – West Campus.

The afternoon began with fellowship during a reception and transitioned into a meaningful program honoring the legacy of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

We were honored to be joined by brothers of Delta Xi Chapter, visiting brothers from surrounding chapters, Silhouettes, representatives of the Albany Divine Nine organizations, and valued community members and supporters.

We sincerely thank each of you for your presence.
Our guest speaker, the Honorable Congressman Sanford Bishop (GA-02), reminded us of the fraternity’s rich history and challenged us to continue serving as achievers and bridge builders for our fellow man.

As we celebrate 115 years of Achievement, Leadership, and Service and the Diamond Jubilee — 75 Years of the Albany (GA) Alumni Chapter, we remain committed to that charge.
