St. Edward’s University will be closed in observance of the Founder’s Day Holiday on Friday, October 16, 2026. All University buildings will require University credentials for entry. No buildings will be open to the general public. Buildings will be SEU ID/Mobile Credential access only from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Campus members can contact University Police at 512-448-8444 to gain access to a building during the Holiday if it is locked.

More information about the Clery Act reporting process and a direct link to the most recent report can always be found online at www.stedwards.edu/campus-services/campus-safety. Free printed copies of the report can be requested from the University Police Department on the second floor of the Operations Building, by calling (512) 448-8444 or emailing [email protected].

Annual Security Report

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act, this report includes descriptions of campus crime prevention programs, procedures for reporting crimes and information about the number and frequency of crimes reported to the University Police Department, local law enforcement, the Dean of Students office, Human Resources office and other Campus Security Authorities for the previous three years (2023, 2024 and 2025) on all St. Edward’s University campuses. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those on sexual assault and other safety related matters.

Annual Fire Safety Report

In compliance with the Campus Fire Safety Right-to-Know section of the Higher Education Act, this report includes statistics for the previous three years (2023, 2024 and 2025) concerning fires reported in on-campus residential housing. The report also includes institutional policies and information concerning campus fire safety, on-campus student housing fire safety systems, portable electrical appliances, smoking, open flames in student housing, and other matters.

Chances for widespread rainfall which could lead to flash flooding increase mid to late week, particularly during the Wednesday night to Friday morning timeframe, as a slow moving cold front moves across the area. Continue to monitor the forecast this week and make sure you have multiple ways to receive warning information.
