It was great seeing Department of Psychology/Morgan State University alumni Dr. Temitope Adeyoye Olenloa (c/o 2015) Clinical Assistant Professor at Purdue University and Shalonta Bowman, MBA (c/o 2014) Philanthropy Officer with the American Psychological Foundation at the American Psychological Association convention. Rounding up the reunion was Morgan State University alumna, entrpreneur, and lecturer DrStacey Stanley (c/o 2014).

Department of Psychology/Morgan State University participated in the American Psychological Association 2026 Annual Convention in Washington, DC! Psychometrics Graduate students Godwin Umeobi, Yannick Nsani, and Destiny Whitehead (virtual attendee) participated in poster sessions. Dr's DrStacey Stanley, Jocelyn Turner-Musa, Kyle Nolla, Lening Olivera-Figuroa, Karen Watkins-Lewis, and Kyongje Sung also shared their research during a poster session. Shout out to Dr's Lening Olivera-Figuroa, Kyle Nolla, and Jocelyn Turner-Musa who participated in a critical conversation on "Advancing Culturally Responsive Addiction Treatment" with Dr's Marcus Daugherty and Kevin Ambrose from the Parnership to End Addiction and Dr. Katherine Trevino from St. Edward's University. Also participating was Oluwatoyin Ajayi, a doctoral student in the public health program. It was a great convention.

Morgan State University Department of Psychology represented at the 57th International Convention of the Assoication of Black Psychologists! Thanks to Dr. Ingrid Tulloch for recommending Morgan and to the student, staff, and faculty volunteers who assisted. Congratulations to our current and past (alumni) student presenters who shared their research in the form of poster and/or oral presentations. Shout out to faculty presenters Dr's Terra Bowen-Reid, Stacey Stanley, and Ingrid Tulloch.

Morgan State University by way of the Department of Psychology was honored to host the 57th Annual International Convention of the Assoication of Black Psychologists! It was indeed an illuminating meeting that freed our spirits and elevated our minds. We connected with new colleagues and reconnected with colleagues, classmates, and former students. We thank President Monique Swift Muhammad, Dr. Yuma Tomes, and Mrs. Kathline Jones for collaborating with us to make this a successful event. On Saturday May 16th we celebrated the graduation of 95 Psychology majors who received a Bachelor of Science degree from Morgan State University!
