Our unforgettable journey through Greece has come to a close, and what better way to end than by reuniting in Athens with our incredible guides, Leo and Katerina! Their insight, warmth, food recommendations and energy made this experience truly special. We wrapped up our adventure with a visit to the stunning Temple of Poseidon, standing proudly above the Aegean Sea; a perfect reminder of the beauty, history, and spirit of this country.

Until next time, Greece—ευχαριστούμε!

🌿🇬🇷 Our time in Ikaria, the island of longevity, was nothing short of magical!

We’ve experienced the best of Ikarian life and learned firsthand why this Blue Zone is known for health, happiness, and vitality. From a delicious cooking class to beekeeping and honey tasting, we got a taste (literally!) of how local, natural foods contribute to wellness.

We took on a challenging hike to over 1,200 feet elevation, paddle boarded along crystal-clear waters, and even discovered the health benefits of Ikarian w**e, including their one-of-a-kind w**emaking technique that’s been passed down for generations. 🍷🌊🐝

A huge efharistó (thank you) to our incredible hosts and guides, Yannis and for showing us the heart and soul of this amazing island. 💙

Another unforgettable day on our Greece Education Abroad journey!

We spent the morning volunteering with Humanity Greece, supporting their mission to serve vulnerable populations in Athens. It was a powerful, hands-on experience that gave us deeper insight into the real-world impact of social determinants of health and the strength of community care.

In the evening, we rolled up our sleeves at The Culinary Center, where we learned how to make traditional Greek dishes and danced the evening away with the amazing staff who taught us authentic Greek dances! 💃🍽️💙

Next stop: Ikaria—the island of longevity. We can’t wait to explore what makes this Blue Zone so unique!
