Are you looking to make a significant and positive impact on a person’s life? Then consider joining others on Thursday, October 23 on Camden County College’s (CCC) Blackwood Campus. The Deutsche Knochenmarkspenderdatei (DKMS), or the “German Bone Marrow Donor File,” is collaborating with CCC and Rutgers University School of Nursing-Blackwood (RUSON) to present an opportunity not only to see if you are eligible for the registry, but to volunteer and facilitate the event. The drive will be held in both the Atrium and Halpern Hall.
DKMS is a worldwide nonprofit bone marrow donor registry home to an entity right here in the United States (US). About 15,000 people are searching for donors nationwide to fight blood cancers. Diversity matters for the current registration pool, so please consider this chance to help those in need!
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the duties of the volunteer, what happens if you are found to be a match, registry privacy and data usage, and/or what the registration process entails, please contact Matt Canlas at his email:
