Our chapter recently hosted an inspiring evening of financial insight, practical tools, and meaningful conversation in recognition of World Financial Planning Day on October 7, 2026!

Community members gathered to explore strategies for building wealth, creating a lasting legacy, and making informed financial decisions for themselves and their families.

🎙️ Our featured speaker, Calvin H. Elam, ChFC, CLU, MSFS, MBA, CEO of EFinancial Advisors and Managing Advisor with LPL, shared valuable insights to help participants plan for a stronger financial future. Because building wealth is about more than today, it’s about creating opportunities and leaving a legacy for generations to come!

Our Literacy Committee began its fourth year of literacy & mentorship with the Girls of Excellence at Arden Elementary School.

This year the Girls of Excellence kicked off their first Book Club Adventure in small groups, exploring The Questioneers series and reading Ada Twist, and the Perilous Pants by Andrea Beaty.

The girls were encouraged to ask questions, stay curious, and celebrate their love of learning!

As part of the first session, the girls participated in a quiet reflection activity. Looking into a mirror, they created self-portraits while taking time to reflect on themselves and celebrate who they are.

Four years of growth, learning, and meaningful connections!

Fall Into Wellness Blood Drive & Health

Gamma Nu Omega Chapter, in partnership with the Pink & Green Community Service Foundation, Inc., hosted its Fall Into Wellness Blood Drive & Health Fair on Saturday, September 26, at Arden Elementary School in Columbia, South Carolina.

With the theme, “Blood Saves Lives. Live Healthy. Give Today,” the event emphasized the importance of giving back while making personal health a priority. Gamma Nu Omega was proud to partner with OneBlood, PlaySmart by PlaySafe USA, PALSS, and NOLA Network to support the event.

The Fall Into Wellness event reflected Gamma Nu Omega’s continued commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles, serving the community, and making a positive difference in our community.

Gamma Nu Omega Chapter invites everyone to join us for Fall in Wellness, Health Fair and Blood Drive at Arden Elementary on Saturday, September 26th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

We will also have a Breast Cancer Survivor Information Session from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Gamma Nu Omega House, located at 1203 Ashley Street, Columbia, South Carolina. Refreshments will be served.

Our members, Diann Price Williams and Clacinda Mayes were on WIS-TV today sharing information about Gamma Nu Omega’s Fall Into Wellness event happening September 26th at Arden Elementary School 10:00 am until 2:00 pm!

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to share our upcoming event with the community and help spread the word about a day focused on health, wellness, and community connection.

Be sure to join us this Saturday!🩷💚

As the seasons change, Midlands residents are encouraged to prioritize preventive health and give back to local hospitals during an upcoming community wellness event.
