This week’s Where We Once Walked series features the Bell Tower at Mount Aloysius College. In the early days of the college, the Bell Tower was the location of where water was stored for the campus. Water was pumped from a cistern and into a water tank that was located within the bell tower. Today, the water tank is still located within the tower even though it isn't used.

The Bell Tower is currently a prominent symbol on campus with lights illuminating it at night. The Bell Tower is one of the best views that campus has to offer, outside of the library.

This week’s Where We Once Walked series features the Pink Out at Mount Aloysius College. Annually, Mount Aloysius hosts the "Pink Out" women's volleyball game when competing against Penn State Altoona. During this game, money is raised for people who have or have had breast cancer. A local recipient is also selected for the proceeds to benefit. Pink shirts are available to purchase every year for students, alumni, staff, family, and friends.

This year's Pink Out game took place two days ago on 10/14 with a large crowd supporting our women's volleyball team and bringing awareness to those who have or have had breast cancer.

This week’s Where We Once Walked series features current photos of the Disc Golf Course at Mount Aloysius College.

The Disc Golf Course is a 9-hole course that starts near the ACWC and baseball field. The course path then continues towards the tennis courts before looping around the woods and coming back near the baseball field.

These photos include a couple of the course holes.

This week’s Where We Once Walked series features current photos of the campus pathway between Ihmsen Hall and Cosgrave Hall at Mount Aloysius College.

The old road that was between Ihmsen and Cosgrave was converted into the main walking path on campus around the time the new library was built. It is now built with brick and concrete and serves as the main walkway.
