Last week was a busy and productive week for the Black Chamber of Commerce of Northwest Indiana!
We had the opportunity to represent our members and our region at several important meetings and events focused on economic development, innovation, and community partnerships.
Highlights included:
* Participating in the NIRPC CEDS Economy & Place Committee meeting, where we discussed regional economic development, brownfield redevelopment, housing, tourism, and technology infrastructure.
* Attending Innovate Indiana with Governor Mike Braun and Mayor Tom McDermott, where leaders shared their vision for Indiana’s economic future, innovation, and business growth.
* Touring projects with Intend Indiana to explore opportunities for workforce housing, neighborhood revitalization, and community investment.
* Proudly accepting a Board of Directors position with Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Indiana, strengthening our commitment to expanding affordable homeownership and creating stronger communities.
At the Black Chamber of Commerce of Northwest Indiana, we believe collaboration is the key to building a stronger regional economy. We remain committed to ensuring our small businesses, entrepreneurs, and underserved communities have a seat at the table as Northwest Indiana continues to grow.
Thank you to all of our partners for the opportunity to collaborate and make a positive impact throughout our region.
