Congratulations to Dr. Lisa Harrington on being awarded the George Merida Huckaba Endowed Professorship of Nursing!

This prestigious recognition highlights her commitment to advancing nursing through scholarly research and creative activities, as well as her dedication to sharing knowledge through publications and presentations at national and international forums. In addition, this role reflects her ongoing service as a valued resource within the nursing discipline.

Why did you pursue nursing:
I love to further my knowledge in the world of nursing. It is ever changing and I have a passion for sharing my love of healthcare with others.

What is your favorite part of ACONHP?
Being a busy mom with two active boys and working full time, I love the flexibility of the online courses. UNA/ACON has been wonderful to work with!
