Welcome to the Regel Boer Goats page. Regel Boer Goats is a family owned boer goat operation located in Hawkeye, Iowa.

Welcome to the Regel Boer Goats website. Regel Boer Goats is owned by Joel, Amy and Austin Pagel and focuses on breeding and marketing outstanding show goats. The Pagel family has a long history in the dairy business. Joel took over Regel Dairy (named after his father, Russel Pagel) after his dad passed away. Regel Dairy was a very successful operation with a focus on genetics. In 2012, Joel sold the cows to spend more time with his family and to pursue other ventures. The focus of the Pagel family is now 100% on the goat herd. Regel Boer Goats strives to improve the genetics of their herd with every breeding and to make these animals available for purchase. The Pagel family consists of Joel & Amy and their 4 children: Carly, Austin, Jenna and Cassidy. Carly is a graduate of Upper Iowa University with a master’s degree in business administration and is employed by US Bank as a wealth management portfolio manager. Carly is married to Lee Parker and they have a son, Oliver. Austin graduated from Iowa State University with a major in ag business and is employed at Kerry Foods as a dependent demand planner. Austin is co-owner and manager of Regel Boer Goats. Jenna is a student at Iowa State University majoring in animal science. Cassidy is a student at Upper Iowa University where she plays women's basketball. The entire family has been involved with 4-H at the county and state levels and enjoy showing their goats all over the Midwest.

Percentage Doe

Wild looking percentage doe! Last year we decided to do something different and found the wether buck named I AM THE WAY and mated him on a couple different donors! I would say it worked! FOLLOW THE WAY's dam has been very prolific for us! She raised a $7,000 buck we sold this spring and is the flushmate sister to our 2024 NGC Junior Fullblood Doe! FOLLOW THE WAY is ready to play in the percentage ring and would be a really fun one when it comes to mating her - so many different ways one could go!

Fullblood Doe

Super cool, super young! Lots to love about this doe kid! She reminds me so much of a doe we sold in the Circle of Winners Sale a few springs ago to the Luellen Family named REGEL LUCKY IN THE LEAD *ENN! LUCKY went on to be a back to back National Reserve Division Champion and produced the first Triple Crown National Champion! When we sold Lucky a few years ago, she helped achieve so many dreams for some youth exhibitors - we hope this doe can go and do it again!

TOP FAN is a tough one for us to let go of! Probably my favorite YELLOW STONE daughter we've ever produced! We know she will take a big jump from this fall to next spring and be a dynamite show doe! She has the elegance, power, body shape & breed character! Dive deeper into her pedigree and see Evan Williams (Jim Beam *ENN x REGEL Lookin At Lucky *ENN) - some very sought after genetics! Her dam was a JABGA National Class Winner in 2025. We have a lot of belief in this doe & are excited to follow her show career with her new owner!
