Yes, peptides have legitimate medical uses. But many of the products promoted online for “looksmaxxing" haven’t been adequately studied. And stacking multiple peptides? That can make the risks even harder to predict.

Binghamton University SOPPS researchers Tao Zhang and Yanyan Li have received a $3.3 million NIH grant to study how medications for opioid use disorder transfer into breast milk — and what that may mean for infants.
