There are three doctoral degrees at Midwestern Seminary. The Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Studies, the Doctor of Educational Ministry, and the Doctor of Ministry degree in various concentrations. The 52 hr PhD program is delivered in a modular format and applications are considered for admission monthly. Our PhD in Biblical Studies has expanded in emphasis offerings to include: Old Testament,

New Testament, Biblical Ethics, Biblical Ministry, Biblical Missiology, Biblical Preaching, Biblical Theology, Systematic Theology, and Biblical Counseling. The 30 hr DMin program is the gold standard in professional ministry degrees, accounting for over 75% of our doctoral graduates. Concentrations available include leadership, military chaplaincy, preaching, biblical counseling, church planting and church revitalization. All coursework in our doctoral programs is seminar based, meaning students do not need to relocate from their current ministry positions. The DEdMin program is a perfect complement to a MACE or MARE degree, continuing the education process with Curriculum Design, Principles of Higher Education, Ministry Practice and many others.
