Music Program at William Jewell College

The William Jewell College Keyboard Comments Day will be Saturday, September 19th, 2026 on our beautiful campus.

The event is an opportunity for students to play 1-2 pieces with music or from memory in a low-stress environment. Teachers do not need to volunteer to work the event, just enroll students. This is for pianists of any age, including adults.

Did you know that our collegiate chapter of National Association for Music Education (Jewell’s NAfME-C) is already gearing up for next academic year? This elected board meets monthly to plan their monthly professional development, cultivate community building for the chapter, and fundraise to pay for themselves to attend the MMEA January In-Service and the fall Leadership Summit (alongside the Tri-M and the Mentoring Conference)? These students are AWESOME!! The future of music education is bright!! 😎🎶❤️🖤🎶

We are proud to send our NAfME-C Chapter every September and attend with our music education majors and faculty in January!! Students raise money to pay for each on their own so let us know if you would like to make a donation to help them with the travel expenses.
