🇺🇸 Labor Day Weekend Reminder

As we head into the holiday weekend, please note that Carteret Community College will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

We’ll reopen and resume normal operations on Tuesday, September 8.

🎓 Success that keeps building.

During her time at Carteret, Tylena Martin stood out for her hard work and dedication, earning recognition as the Business Administration Outstanding Student. That same drive has continued to open new doors.

After graduating with honors in December 2025, Tylena continued her education at UNC Pembroke, where she is now pursuing a dual BS/MBA in Business Administration and Management. Most recently, she was selected for a paid summer internship with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, gaining valuable experience that connects directly to her future career goals.

From finding her confidence at Carteret CC to continuing her education and building her career, Tylena’s story is just getting started. 💙

We’re proud to have been part of her journey and even more excited to see where it takes her next.

Today is a special day for our Dental Assisting students!

This afternoon, we’ll celebrate their hard work, dedication, and determination during their Pinning Ceremony. Each pin represents the skills they’ve gained, the challenges they’ve overcome, and the exciting next chapter ahead.

We are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and can’t wait to see where their careers take them! Please join us in congratulating our Dental Assisting students on reaching this important milestone. 💙🎓
