Our Christian classics reading group is excited to be reading "On the Apostolic Preaching" by Saint Irenaeus this semester! Each week, they meet to read and discuss this great Christian text together.

We are very grateful for the opportunity to partner with several adjunct professors in our department. This year, we'd like to spotlight some of the adjuncts who lend their heart and wisdom to our learning community. For our first adjunct spotlight, meet Pastor Mark Snodgrass!

Yesterday the Introduction to Ministry class joined with CMF faculty and staff for a time of orientation and retreat. In addition to fellowship and games, everyone shared four turning points in their stories, and we ended the day by celebrating Communion together and praying for the upcoming year. Thank you, Dr. Christina Bohn, for opening your home and creating an intentional space for connection and story-sharing!

Students in the Ministry Student Internship Program (MSIP) gathered today for orientation. The hands-on ministry experience they are gaining is invaluable, and the program's scholarships are an extra blessing. Many thanks to the local pastors and ministries who are investing in our students!

Each year, our seniors participate in a retreat with our faculty to celebrate and reflect on their time at MNU. This retreat in many ways mirrors the retreat they take in the Introduction to Ministry course their first year in the program. As we come to the end of their time with us, we are grateful to witness their growth in wisdom and character and their contributions to our learning community over the years. May they continue learning in every season of life!

The Wesleyan-Holiness Women Clergy Conference (E2026) was held in Minneapolis at the end of February, and a few of our own were able to join several from NTS in attending. This conference is for women exploring and living out their call to ministry and for men who want to support them. Thank you to Dr. Deanna Hayden and Pastor Deanna Williams for supporting our students in attending!

"The WHWC conference is an amazing event that truly helps encourage and cheer on women in ministry. This conference is intentional about creating a space where women in ministry can come and share life together. It’s about making connections so that you don’t have to do ministry without the support system that it takes. This conference is truly remarkable." - Amillya Morgan, Junior Ministry Major
