On July 2nd, Bro. Easley (SP’25) and Bro. Epps (SP’21) volunteered at the Peace & Healing Festival in Chicago, an event organized by Bro. Lige (FA’17). Through fellowship and service, they helped support an event dedicated to bringing the community together, promoting healing, and creating a positive impact.

As a chapter, we are always happy to support brothers in what they do, even after they graduate. We are committed to taking the extra step and still serving the community. The Work never stops🤙🏾.

June 25-27th, Bro. Culberson and Bro. Easley for represented the chapter at the School for the Better Making of Men – Jones Class.

Their time at the conference was an opportunity to grow in knowledge, strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, and continue their journey of lifelong learning.

While there, they also volunteered with the WINGS Program, supporting an initiative dedicated to helping end domestic violence and making a positive impact in the community.

We are proud of these brothers for representing the chapter in a great light and doing The Work🤙🏾.

June 10th: Bro. Culberson, Bro. Davis, and Bro. Woodward volunteered by boxing food and loading it into vehicles to help ensure families in our community received the resources they needed.

June 14th: Bro. Culberson, Bro. Davis, and Bro. Woodward participated in the Juneteenth Celebration Parade, sharing in the celebration by passing out candy and walking with the children in the parade.

June 22nd: Bro. Davis volunteered during Bradley University’s Freshmen Orientation, welcoming and assisting the next generation of Braves as they began their college journey.

As we reflect on June, we’re grateful for every opportunity to uplift our community and look forward to continuing to serve.

Today, we honor the fathers, father figures, mentors, and men who lead with wisdom, strength, and purpose.

On this Father’s Day, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. celebrates the men who have embraced the responsibility of fatherhood and continue to shape future generations through their love, guidance, and sacrifice. Whether by blood, mentorship, or example, your impact reaches far beyond your own families and into our communities.

Thank you for the lessons taught, the values instilled, and the legacy being built each day. We salute all fathers who exemplify leadership, integrity, and service.

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth—a day that reminds us of the strength, resilience, and perseverance of those who came before us. While it marks the day the last enslaved African Americans learned of their freedom, it also serves as a powerful reminder of the progress we’ve made and the work that still lies ahead.

As brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., we honor the legacy of those who fought for freedom, justice, and opportunity. Their sacrifices paved the way for future generations to lead, serve, and create change in our communities.

Today, we celebrate our history, our culture, and the unwavering spirit of our people. May we continue to uplift one another, stand for what’s right, and leave a lasting impact wherever we serve.

Happy Juneteenth✊🏾
