TMCC welcomed U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto to the William N. Pennington Applied Technology Center for a firsthand look at the hands-on education preparing students for careers across Northern Nevada.

During her visit, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto toured TMCC’s automotive, diesel, Tesla, advanced manufacturing and machining programs and met with the students and faculty behind this work!

Thank you, Senator Cortez Masto, for visiting TMCC and learning more about how career and technical education is helping build Nevada’s workforce.

Auditions for TMCC’s Fall play are TOMORROW at 6 p.m. at the Dandini Campus.

Come prepared with a 60-second comedic monologue and plan to stay for at least two hours. Callbacks begin at 8 p.m.

Want to learn more before you audition? Stop by the Theatre and Dance Meet and Greet from 5–6 p.m. in the same space!

Interested in a career in the operating room? Your path can start at TMCC.

Through TMCC’s partnership with the College of Southern Nevada, students can begin preparing for CSN’s Surgical Technology program right here in Northern Nevada.

One of the first steps is SRGT 101: Introduction to Surgical Technology, a one-unit course that explores the role of a surgical technologist, education and certification requirements, career outlook and more through discussion and hands-on demonstrations.

Didn’t get the classes you wanted when the semester started? Late-start classes are still available to sign up for, including SRGT 101 this fall!
