UWRF and the Nobel Prize in Physics! Join us.

Dr. Frances Halzen, principal investigator of IceCube, and professor at UW-Madison, has been awarded the 2026 Nobel Prize in Physics “for decisive contributions to the IceCube Neutrino Observatory and the discovery of high-energy neutrinos of astrophysical origin.” Dr. Suruj Seunarine, professor of physics at UWRF, will give a presentation highlighting UWRF’s long-standing connection to Dr. Halzen and the IceCube project.
