Summer “break” is officially over and Alpha Tau Omega Chapter returned with a Championship Mindset ready to energize, engage, and elevate our game as we plan to implement and execute our new International Signature Program and Targets. Members learned additional ways to support our chapter non-profit entities, discussed volunteer opportunities at our senior citizen complex Roseville Apartments as well as brainstormed ideas for Championing Service, Empowering Sisterhood and Transforming the World. It was a great day of sisterly fellowship, planning and preparation.

This year, we are coming together to help **Stuff the Bus** with school supplies for children in **Bexar County**. Your generous donation will support local schools served by **Communities In Schools**, helping ensure that students have the supplies and resources they need to begin the school year with confidence and success.

Alpha Tau Omega was honored to join the Alpha Phi Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. for an outstanding Shades & Sandals: Tropical Splash Edition. We extend our sincere appreciation for their exceptional hospitality and the opportunity to fellowship together.

It was truly inspiring to see our Divine Nine organizations and members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council of San Antonio united in support of one another, reinforcing our shared commitment to service, sisterhood, brotherhood, and community engagement. We look forward to continuing to strengthen these bonds as we serve our communities together.

We were proud to participate in the Annual San Antonio Juneteenth Commission Parade and Festival as we celebrated freedom, unity, and community service.

Our President, Monique Bell Vernon, rode in the parade alongside the Delta Rho Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. SAIEF, Inc. hosted a beverage booth, providing sodas, water, and Gatorade while also selling BBQ tickets in support of community initiatives. In addition, ATO’s Advocate for Social Justice Committee conducted voter registration efforts, helping to empower citizens through civic engagement.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in honoring the significance of Juneteenth and supporting our community.
