Thursday October 15th was Explore Ozarks Tech! We welcomed high schoolers from around the area with smiling faces and encouraged everyone to take part in demos from each station.

The students took part in getting pictures taken in the photo lab, participating in what a day at the film studio looks like and the many jobs that are quintessential to a broadcast can be, and were encouraged to test the limits of our sound studio! Wrapping up their time with popcorn and showing them how green screen magic works. 🪄✨

The students arrived bright, eager, and excited! We entrusted our work study students to inspire and engage with everyone to show off the wonderful EMP department, and boy did they deliver!

We are pleased to say that it was a success showing these young minds the joys of learning and the resources available to them at our college.

The EMP department can’t wait to do it all again for you all, see you next year!
