• ⁠Favorite Organism: Leaf sheep! I love the fact that they can take chloroplasts from plants and use them, I think it’s super interesting.

• Why TriBeta? I love tribeta because I was able to find a community that has similar interests to mine. I also loved the fact that everyone was so accepting, welcoming, and always wanting to help. I appreciate how tribeta is always at events volunteering and helping, it’s definitely the type of supportive community I want to be a part of.

• Which Lab Equipment Best Describes you and Why? A centrifuge best describes me because i’m really high energy, efficient, and thrive well under pressure. I also find spinning around really fun :)

• Favorite Organism: Planarian because I love how silly they look, and I think it’s really cool how they can regenerate from small fragments!

• Why TriBeta? I love TriBeta because of the ability to connect with biology faculty and peers. I enjoy volunteering, going on trips, and having conversations with other biology students. TriBeta has allowed me to connect with others in the field of biology in ways I didn’t think possible. I’ve gained new perspectives and a better understanding of what others do in the field of biology.

• ⁠Why Tribeta? I chose tribeta because it was a place that made me feel welcomed. Being in tribeta has provided me with many opportunities for volunteering , connecting with peers, and faculty members. It showed how much more my degree has to offer than aiding in the pre-med journey.
