103 YEARS OF ALPHA UPSILON 🤍👑

Yesterday, we celebrated 103 years of sisterhood, love, and Zeta Tau Alpha at Oklahoma State! Since August 17, 1923, generations of women have had the privilege of calling Alpha Upsilon home, each leaving their own mark on the chapter we love today.

Here’s to 103 years of memories, friendships, and a sisterhood that lasts far beyond our college years. Happy birthday, Alpha Upsilon! 🩵

LOVE, THE GREATEST OF ALL THINGS. 🤍

Preference is one of the most meaningful days of the year. A chance to slow down, look around, and share the heart behind the sisterhood we are so lucky to call ours.

For over 100 years, generations of women have called Alpha Upsilon home. Today, we had the privilege of sharing what has made that sisterhood last: the friendships that have shaped us, the women who have stood beside us through every season, and a love for Zeta that extends far beyond our years at Oklahoma State.

To every PNM who walked through our doors today, thank you for trusting us with your stories and allowing us to share ours with you. As you make one of your final decisions of recruitment, we hope you choose the place where you feel known, loved, celebrated, and most like yourself. We hope that when you look back on this week, you remember not only what you saw inside our home, but how you felt while you were here.

And to MC ’23, who experienced their final Preference as collegiate members today, thank you for showing us what it looks like to choose this sisterhood again and again. You have poured so much love into Alpha Upsilon, and pieces of you will remain here long after graduation. We love you endlessly, MC ’23. 🤍

Sisterhood meant a little more to us today. 🩵

As we welcomed PNMs back into our home for Sisterhood Round, each of our members wore a black ribbon in memory of Kris Fleming who passed away this past weekend following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Kris was a Zeta sister whose love and service to our Fraternity left a lasting mark on Alpha Upsilon.

Kris served Zeta Tau Alpha for years through the Fraternity Housing Corporation. She poured so much of herself into creating spaces where generations of Zetas could find a home, and Alpha Upsilon was incredibly lucky to experience that love firsthand.

Today was a reminder that Zeta is so much bigger than the four years we spend in college. It is showing up for the women who come after you. It is leaving something better than you found it. It is loving a sisterhood enough to continue giving to it long after your own college days have ended.

Kris showed us what it truly means when we say that "Zeta Is Forever." We are so grateful for the women who make this house a home.

Today was extra special as we welcomed PNMs into our new home for our first Philanthropy Round within these walls!!! 👑

Think Pink is so much more than a philanthropy to Alpha Upsilon. It’s a cause that has touched so many of our members personally and gives us the opportunity to make an impact far beyond our chapter. Through fundraising, education, awareness, and service, we are proud to support Zeta Tau Alpha’s fight against breast cancer and remind women everywhere that early detection saves lives.

After two years away, getting to share something so close to our hearts in a home that is finally ours made today even more meaningful. We are so grateful to every PNM who listened to our stories, shared pieces of their own, and learned a little more about why we Think Pink. 💗🎗️

We cannot wait for Sisterhood Round tomorrow and to share what makes ZTA a home for us!
