Happy Pride Month to our sorors, partners, and friends!

Delta Sigma Theta has always stood for love, inclusion, and respecting the full dignity of every person. While we remain anchored in that legacy, we also acknowledge the need to continue to evolve with intention by championing affirming policies, and forging a culture where every member is seen, valued, and protected.

This Pride Month, we honor and celebrate the beautiful diversity and strength of the LGBTQ+ community and reaffirm our commitment to being allies in the fight for a better future where the freedom to love and exist in one's authentic identity is not contingent on the political climate. Especially when that freedom is being challenged, we choose to show up louder, love harder, and stand firmer in our commitment to justice for all.

Happy Mother’s Day Sorors‼️

Motherhood is a journey where the days feel long and the years are short, yet the love poured into each moment leaves an imprint that lasts a lifetime.

Today we honor our beautiful mothers — those who guide our steps, watch ahead for danger, and pour themselves into others without hesitation. From mothers by birth to grandmothers, godmothers, and every mother figure who stands in the gap, your love is the foundation upon which we stand.

We also hold space for our sisters experiencing the complexity of joy and grief on this day. For those navigating their own experience of becoming a mother, and those missing the presence of theirs — we see you, we are you, and we love you.

To every woman who has ever loved like a mother: your journey has paved the path we walk today. Anchored in the legacy you have built and evolving with the intention you have modeled, we carry you with us in every step forward. Happy Mother's Day!

As conflict continues in the Middle East, we gather with heavy hearts and steadfast prayers for peace. We hold close all who are impacted by violence, displacement, and profound loss especially our sorors, their families, and the communities navigating uncertainty and fear. Please know that you are seen, valued, and not alone in this moment.

We extend sincere gratitude to those serving on the front lines — members of the armed forces, humanitarian workers, medical professionals, and all who labor tirelessly to protect lives and deliver care amid crisis. Your sacrifice and unwavering commitment do not go unnoticed.

As an international sisterhood, we call on every member to stand united in prayer and reflection. We lift up our chapters and sorors directly impacted, praying that safety surrounds those in harm’s way, that wisdom and discernment guide leaders, and that compassion prevails over conflict.

May we be reminded that we are one and may we continue to embody the empathy, hope, and pursuit of peace our world so urgently needs.
