Our Invasive Cardiovascular Technology students practice flushing a 4‑port manifold used during coronary angiography, where contrast is injected into the coronary arteries to create X‑ray images that help physicians identify blockages or narrowing. Building these technical skills in the lab gives students the confidence they need for real‑world patient care.

Students gained practical experience with Intracardiac Echocardiogram (ICE) using an advanced ultrasound simulator, guided by expert Clinical Specialists who shared real‑time insight and industry expertise.

In Nursing Arts, our Medical Assistant students practice proper cuff placement, stethoscope positioning, patient communication, and safety protocols while performing manual BP measurements. They learn accurate documentation standards, how to recognize and report abnormal findings, and the clinical reasoning behind each step. By pairing clear theory with supervised, hands‑on lab practice, students build the confidence and competency needed for real‑world clinical settings—where precision, assessment accuracy, and patient safety truly matter.
