Few life events are more joyful than the birth of a child. Yet, no one anticipates a baby born prematurely or very sick and needing to spend time in a newborn intensive care unit. Sadly, for hundreds of thousands of moms in our country, that is the frightening reality.

Thatโ€™s why we are raising money for March for Babiesยฎ to help the March of Dimes fund lifesaving research and programs that help more moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. Please join this team https://www.marchforbabies.org/team/MHHchapter to help us reach our goal of $500.

Getting started is easy. Just go to https://www.marchforbabies.org/team/MHHchapter and click โ€œjoin this teamโ€ and check out our fundraising. Our walk takes place on 6/30/2026 at 5:30 pm at Bowers Park in Tuscaloosa. It will be even better with you there!

Our team, Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated- Mu Eta Eta Chapter, is part of the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, weโ€™re committed to raising funds so that every family g...

As Mental Health Month comes to a close, we continue to support those living with mental illness and those closest to them. Mental Health Awareness Month is meant to shed light on the health conditions and the need to end the stigma around mental health illnesses. Itโ€™s not about self-care. Self care is great but more research funding and education about these conditions is needed. Just like you canโ€™t โ€œself-careโ€ yourself out of cancer, you canโ€™t self-care yourself out of mental health illnesses.
Sending Love, Light, and Support to all. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿฆ‹
