Summer doesn't stop the learning for Wartburg Education! 😀
Professor Jennifer Dickey and Education major, Ellianna Trilling, spent yesterday at the 4th Annual Iowa Science of Reading Summit in Cedar Rapids. By exploring ways to manage cognitive load, their presentation offered educators practical strategies to unlock higher levels of understanding for young readers. Their focus was on how to support working memory to deepen reading comprehension.
A highlight of the conference was connecting with several wonderful Wartburg Alumni who are out in the field doing incredible work at schools all across the state!
