What a powerful day of sisterhood, solidarity, and civic engagement!

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Omicron Chi Omega Chapter showed up and showed out for Souls to the Polls! From the energy of the march to the incredible community turnout, the day was a beautiful reminder of what happens when we come together with purpose.

Thank you to every soror, community partner, and supporter who marched, participated, and helped make this event a success.

The deadline to register or update your registration AND request a mail-in ballot is this Friday, October 23.

You can check your status, update your registration or register to vote here www.elections.virginia.gov/registration

You can return your mail ballot in person to any early voting location during open hours in the early voting period, which ends October 31, 2026, or in person on Election Day, November 3, 2026.

You can also return your mail ballot by U.S. Postal Service. It must be postmarked on or before November 3, 2026.

Powerful in Pink 💗💚

At our October chapter meeting, the Omicron Chi Omega Chapter was Powerful in Pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This month reminds us that awareness is more than wearing pink. It is knowing your risk, understanding your family history, staying current with recommended screenings, and advocating for your health.

As the Marvelous Mid Atlantic Region reminds us:
