Lecture Title:
“Wrapping Language around Job’s Body: Divine Violence as a visceral form of entreaty”

Through the lens of theology, embodiment, and the medical humanities, this lecture invites us to reflect deeply on pain, compassion, and the ethics of how we respond to suffering.

Hosted by the Department of Old and New Testament Studies at UFS, this conversation promises rich insight for students, scholars, faith communities, and all who are interested in biblical interpretation and human experience.

We hope to see you there.
