Technology supporting better conversations about horse movement.

At BSET, we believe that observation, hands-on assessment, and objective data all have a place in understanding the horse.

Using the Sleip app allows us to analyse movement patterns and monitor changes over time. An added benefit is the ability to collaborate remotely, with Beth Shaw able to review videos and provide input from overseas.

Technology doesn’t replace experience it enhances it, helping us build a more complete picture of the horse in front of us.

So incredibly proud of how far our first years have come already 🤍🐴

From nervous first days to completing their Module 1 & 2 EQUASA exams, this group has shown such dedication, resilience, growth, and passion every single step of the way. The long days, early mornings, endless studying, practical sessions, and hands-on learning are all beginning to shape the equine professionals they are becoming.

It’s been amazing to watch their confidence grow not only in their knowledge, but in themselves. This is only the beginning, and we cannot wait to see where the rest of the year takes them.

Well done first years, you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves ✨📚🐎

It’s been exciting watching students explore another layer of movement analysis and discover how technology can provide even greater insight into the horse. The Sleip app is opening up more options for assessment, helping students refine their eye, deepen their understanding, and add another valuable tool to their skill set as they continue growing in the equine world.
