The training market is flooded with “cheap accredited courses” promising fast results at unbelievably low prices. But in this industry, cheap often becomes very expensive in the long run.
Behind bargain pricing can be:
• Questionable or misleading accreditation
• Recycled or outdated materials
• Weak facilitation
• Little to no learner support
• Qualifications that carry no real workplace value
Accreditation alone is not enough. True value lies in a provider’s integrity, track record, structured learner support, qualified facilitators, and transparent assessment processes.
Before you register:
✔ Verify accreditation directly with ETDP SETA or QCTO
✔ Ask about learner support and assessment processes
✔ Ensure there is proper moderation and certification
Quality education has a fair price — and it protects your career, your compliance, and your organisation’s reputation.
If cost is a concern, negotiate payment terms — don’t compromise on quality. When you buy cheap, you often pay twice.
