📚 WIL-B Students: Ready. Set. Teach. 🍎

All the best to our Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) B students completing their teaching practicals this semester!
As you prepare, please take note of these important requirements:

📅 School holidays and catch-up days
If any of your required practical days fall during the school holidays, you must make up those days once the school reopens. All required practical days must be completed.

📝 Complete your register correctly
Your WIL register is an important record of your practical attendance. Make sure it is completed in full and includes:

• Your name and surname
• The date for each practical day completed
• Your Mentor Teacher’s signature for each day
• The official school stamp

✏️ Prepare your lesson plans
Your lesson plans may be handwritten or typed. Make sure they are complete and meet the requirements for your WIL practical.
📖 Check your Guidelines and Requirements (GR) Book

Your WIL B Guidelines and Requirements (GR) Book contains the information you need to successfully complete your practical and Portfolio of Evidence (POE).

Refer to it regularly and make sure you meet all the requirements.
Plan ahead, keep your documentation up to date and make every practical day count.

👩🏾‍ Lerato Moshoeshoe, a SANTS graduate, was recognised at the 2025 National Teaching Awards for excellence in early childhood education. From competing at district level to reflecting on a journey of growth, her story shows the resilience, passion and power of practice-based training.

Write a story of possibility! SANTS Private Higher Education will attend the CTICC’s Youth in Action Expo and we are excited to meet you.

Find us at the expo to talk about:

• The Qualifications and Study Options that SANTS has to offer.
• Requirements for applying at SANTS (Application).
• Funding options available.
