They’re furry, cuddly and oh so cute. Dogs are also an important part of the TRU Veterinary Technology Program.

If you see a vet tech student walking a dog on campus wearing
'a yellow ribbon or bandana' on its leash or collar, please give it space as that dog is in training.

Program dogs are in training throughout the year, so you might see a dog with a yellow bandana on campus at any time.

Red Zone Week #1 explored terminology that may require further clarification.

“Violence” conjures a strong image indicating a forceful physical act, but the definition also includes harassment, assault, stealthing, stalking, and sharing images without consent.

If you’ve had an experience that made you feel upset, unsafe, or uncomfortable - whether it’s recently or in the past - that’s reason enough to connect with Sexualized Violence Prevention & Response.

If you’re approved for accommodations through Accessibility Services, it’s time to distribute your letter(s) to your instructor(s) through the online Student Services portal.

While you can submit letters at any point in the semester, providing documentation as soon as you receive it ensures a smoother and more consistent experience in the classroom and/or Test Centre. Law students can work with their advisors to submit letters through AS.

Please connect with an advisor at [email protected] if you have questions or need support. Check the for a video on the submission process.
