During the academic year, the Scratch Cafe @ Culinary Arts is generally open from Tuesday thru Friday The Culinary Arts Certificate program combines classroom theory with hands-on training as you rotate through two-week blocks in a commercial-grade kitchen. In addition to our programs, our students run a number of retail and service businesses on campus, including the Scratch Café, Accolades Dining Room and the retail meat store.

Friday's menu is ready! ☕🍩

If you're stopping by campus today, we've got another great selection of student-made baking and desserts waiting for you.

This week's menu includes savoury favourites like quiche, calzones and fresh sandwich buns, along with crème brûlée, panna cotta, profiteroles, Napoleons... and a full lineup of donuts. 🍩

Join us in the foyer of the Culinary Arts Building from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.

One friendly reminder: our baking has been selling out quickly, so if there's something you've got your eye on, we'd recommend stopping by earlier rather than later.

Wednesday's baking for sale! 🍞☕

There's lots coming out of the ovens today, including fresh breads, calzones, cinnamon buns, scones and a few sweet treats.

A quick update: We'll now be opening at 12:00 NOON instead of 11:30 a.m. This gives our students a little extra time to finish their yeast breads so everything is ready to go when the doors open.

Join us from 12:00–3:00 p.m. in the foyer of the Culinary Arts Building.

We've got another fresh batch of baking ready for today, along with a few savoury favourites and plenty of desserts.

If you've been following along the past couple of weeks, you already know... things don't stick around for long. We've been selling out early, so if there's something you're hoping to grab, we'd recommend coming by sooner rather than later.

Today's fresh-baked menu is here!

Join us in the foyer of the Culinary Arts Building, starting at 11:30 a.m.

One thing we've learned over the past week... come early! We've been selling out well before closing, and we'd hate for you to miss out.

As a reminder, our summer bulk baked goods sales are now happening every Wednesday and Friday to give our students more time to prepare a great selection each week.

A quick update on our summer baked goods sales! ☕🍪

First, thank you. We have been blown away by the support for our students. You've been selling us out every day!

To give our students more time to prepare and ensure the best selection of fresh baking each sale, we'll now be offering our bulk baked goods on Wednesdays and Fridays ONLY.

We often sell out by 1 or 2 p.m., so if there's something you've got your eye on, we recommend stopping by early.

You can find us on the first floor of the Culinary Arts Building in the Scratch Cafe.

Thanks again for supporting our students. We can't wait to keep baking for you every Wednesday and Friday!
