At Surval, science is about far more than textbooks — it is about curiosity, innovation, and empowering girls to shape the future ✨🌍

Through small classes, personalised teaching, and hands-on learning in our science laboratories, students are encouraged to explore the world around them with confidence and ambition. Our science programme is further enriched through inspiring experiences beyond the classroom, including visits, conferences, and networking opportunities with leading women in STEM fields.

Earlier this year, students attended the Potenti’ELLE in Science event at the International School of Lausanne, where they explored the role of AI in healthcare and connected with inspiring women working across science, engineering, business, and medicine.

We are so proud to celebrate our students who have successfully achieved their DELF certificates in French 🇫🇷✨

Their dedication, perseverance, and enthusiasm for language learning have led to this wonderful achievement 🎉

At Surval, many girls join us for a term, two terms, or a Swiss Gap experience with the goal of improving their French. Through immersive learning, daily practice, and cultural experiences, they make incredible progress in a short time.

The DELF qualification is internationally recognised and reflects real achievement in speaking, listening, reading, and writing French — a milestone our students should be truly proud of 💙

As the new term begins, we’re delighted to look back on our unforgettable two-week Scandinavia tour during the Spring holidays 🌍❄️

From the colourful streets of Copenhagen 🇩🇰 and a hands-on Danish baking experience, to charming seaside towns and incredible whale watching in Sweden 🇸🇪 🐋, our girls embraced every moment of discovery.

The journey continued through Norway 🇳🇴, featuring the breathtaking Oslo–Bergen train ride 🚆🏔️, stunning fjords, and rich cultural experiences along the way.

The school was alive with energy and imagination. From a competitive Literary Kahoot Quiz to a campus-wide Book Scavenger Hunt, our girls explored characters, famous quotes and classic novels while collaborating across year groups in true Surval spirit 💙

Adding to the fun, our teachers dressing up as beloved literary characters — bringing stories to life.

Our students shared their mother tongues with the community and delivered short presentations in French — the language of our beautiful region of Montreux and this part of Switzerland 🇨🇭💛
