除灣仔本部外，位於薄扶林的伯大尼古蹟校園，亦是電影電視學院的教育設施所在地。

The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), established in 1984, is a world-leading higher education institution for the performing arts. It provides professionally-oriented undergraduate education and postgraduate studies in Chinese Opera, Dance, Drama, Film and Television, Music, and Theatre and Entertainment Arts. Its educational philosophy reflects the cultural diversity of Hong Kong with an emphasis on Chinese and Western traditions, and interdisciplinary learning. In the 2026 QS World University Rankings, the Academy ranks 10th for Performing Arts and 1st in Asia. The Academy has been granted Programme Area Accreditation status by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications to awards its own Certificates, Diplomas, Bachelor’s (Honours) Degrees and Master’s Degrees. In the past four decades, more than 10,000 artists have graduated from the Academy, going on to become performing artists, creative arts practitioners, filmmakers, educators and cultural leaders with global impact – many have won international awards and shone in their respective artistic fields. Besides the main campus in Wanchai, Béthanie, the Academy’s Landmark Heritage Campus in Pokfulam, houses educational facilities for the School of Film and Television.

【香港演藝學院呈獻：《舞蹈學院秋季演出》門票現已公開發售 | HKAPA Presents: "School of Dance Fall Performances" Tickets on sale now】🩰🪭🥁💃🏻🕺🏻

演藝學院《舞蹈學院秋季演出》將於十一月二十及二十一日在演藝學院歌劇院公演，由舞蹈學院和舞台及製作藝術學院攜手為觀眾帶來一場集芭蕾舞、中國舞及現代舞的舞蹈盛宴。

本年度的《舞蹈學院秋季演出》帶來三部獨具特色的作品：
1️⃣ 歐鹿的《希爾維亞組曲》，展現芭蕾舞學生的藝術造詣與精湛技巧；
2️⃣ 余碧艷與李璋亮聯手打造的《鼓・道・行》，藉由鏗鏘鼓聲與節奏頌揚文化傳承與生命力；以及
3️⃣ 英國編舞家兼駐院藝術家（現代舞）Oliver Sayer則帶來全新當代舞作《The Calling》，將中國傳統的水鬼神話重構於1970年代的灣仔之中。

The Academy's School of Dance Fall Performances will be held at the Lyric Theatre, HKAPA on 20 and 21 November 2026. The School of Dance, in collaboration with the School of Theatre and Entertainment Arts, will offer the audience an extravaganza that combines ballet, Chinese dance, and contemporary dance.

This year's School of Dance Fall Performances features three distinctive works:
1️⃣ Ou Lu's "Sylvia Divertissement", showcasing the artistry and technical accomplishment of Ballet students;
2️⃣ "Drum", presented by Yu Pik-yim and Li Zhangliang, celebrating cultural inheritance and the vitality of life through the rhythms of the drum; and
3️⃣ A new work "The Calling" by UK choreographer and Artist-in-Residence Oliver Sayer, which reimagines ancient Chinese water ghost mythology in 1970s Wan Chai through contemporary dance.

香港演藝學院代表團早前出席於北京舉行的第四屆「中外戲劇交流與合作論壇」，與來自海內外的專家學者交流互鑑，共同探討戲曲藝術在數字時代的創新發展。

論壇期間，學院分享人工智能時代下表演藝術人才培育的新思路，並就教育合作、青年人才培養及戲曲傳播等議題與與會者深入交流，攜手推動戲曲藝術的傳承與創新。

Representatives from the Academy recently participated in the 4th International Forum on Theatre Exchange and Cooperation in Beijing, joining experts and scholars from around the world to explore the future development of Chinese opera in the digital age.

During the forum, the Academy shared its innovative approach to performing arts talent development in the age of AI and engaged in discussions on educational collaboration, youth development and the promotion of Chinese opera, helping advance the preservation and innovation of the art form while strengthening cultural exchange and cooperation.

《The Practice Room》舞蹈學院大師班工作坊系列，由舞蹈學院駐院藝術家及全職教師主導，以練習與交流為核心，連繫香港舞蹈社群。誠邀舞蹈專業人士、教師、編舞、校友及舞蹈愛好者參與，一同探索多元創作與表演實踐。

系列第三場工作坊由駐院藝術家 Oliver Sayer 主持，將深入探索動作、表演意圖及舞者之間的肢體互動，如何營造氛圍、觸動情感，並向觀眾訴說故事。參加者將透過不同技巧發掘身體的敘事潛能，體會即使最細微的動作選擇，也能塑造觀眾對作品的感受與觀演體驗。

"The Practice Room", a new masterclass workshop series led by HKAPA Dance Artists-in-Residence and full-time faculty, creates a space for practice, exchange, and connection within Hong Kong's dance community. Dance professionals, teachers, choreographers, alumni, and dance enthusiasts are warmly invited to join us.

Led by Artist-in-Residence Oliver Sayer, the third workshop in the series focuses on exploring how movement, intention and physical relationships can create atmosphere, evoke emotion and communicate stories to an audience. Participants will explore techniques to harness the narrative potential of the body, discovering how even the smallest physical choices can shape an audience’s experience.

演藝學院電影電視學院院長林均乘博士 (Terry) 早前獲邀於釜山國際電影節期間舉行的亞洲內容及電影市場會議擔任「Cinematic AI」專題論壇主持，與業界專家共同探討人工智能如何推動電影及創意產業的發展。論壇由演藝學院合作夥伴 BytePlus 主辦，是次交流不但進一步深化雙方合作關係，亦有助提升學院在國際創意科技領域的影響力。🤖🎞️

Dr Terry Lam, Dean of Film and Television, was invited to moderate the "Cinematic AI" panel at the Asian Contents & Film Market Conference during the Busan International Film Festival. Hosted by BytePlus, an MoU partner of the Academy, the session explored how emerging AI technologies are transforming the creative industries. The engagement further strengthened the Academy's relationship with BytePlus, encouraged valuable dialogue with industry leaders, and reinforced the Academy's profile on the international stage. 🤖🎞️

Terry also recently appeared on "Orange News’” programme "Warm Talkings", where he shared insights into innovative applications including cineDesk and AI-driven virtual production, and discussed how technology is opening up new possibilities for film, television and media education. 📺 The second episode was released today. 【香港文化與可持續發展會議2026圓滿結束🌱Hong Kong Culture and Sustainability Conference 2026 Concludes】

一連兩天會議早前在香港演藝學院進行，透過多場專題討論和延伸交流，聚焦在全球聯繫和產學研合作等領域，涵蓋演藝與視覺藝術、城鄉共融，以至身心健康等不同實踐。

「付諸行動」是今屆會議的核心思想，經過一系列交流、討論和分享，參加者既深入了解到各地同行的工作實踐，又有效連結成互相合作的全球聯盟。

一個關注文化可持續發展的社群網絡逐漸成形，大家都準備好在日常工作中付諸更多行動，並期待明年10月在香港中文大學舉行的第三屆會議再聚，一同推動更多改變！

《香港文化與可持續發展會議 2026》由香港演藝學院與香港文化及可持續發展中心聯合呈獻及主辦；本屆會議為香港演藝博覽 2026「伙伴節目」之一。

Held earlier at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, the two-day conference brought together participants through panel discussions and extended exchanges, focusing on global connections and collaboration across academia, industry and research. Topics spanned performing and visual arts, urban-rural integration, wellbeing and other areas of practice.

“Action” was at the heart of this year’s conference. Through a series of exchanges, discussions and sharing, participants gained deeper insight into the work of peers around the world and built a global alliance for mutual collaboration.

A community network focused on cultural sustainability is gradually taking shape. Everyone is ready to take further action in their daily work, and looks forward to reuniting at the third conference, to be held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in October next year, to drive further change together!

“Hong Kong Culture and Sustainability Conference 2026 (CU:SU 2026)” is co-presented and co-organised by The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and Hong Kong Culture and Sustainability Centre, and is one of the “Partner Programmes” of Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo 2026.
