The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), established in 1984, is a world-leading higher education institution for the performing arts. It provides professionally-oriented undergraduate education and postgraduate studies in Chinese Opera, Dance, Drama, Film and Television, Music, and Theatre and Entertainment Arts. Its educational philosophy reflects the cultural diversity of Hong Kong with an emphasis on Chinese and Western traditions, and interdisciplinary learning. In the 2026 QS World University Rankings, the Academy ranks 10th for Performing Arts and 1st in Asia. 【🎭香港演藝學院與啟程居宣布校外學生宿舍合作計劃︱HKAPA and Stride Announce Off-campus Accommodation Collaboration🫱🏼‍🫲🏼】

香港演藝學院與啟程居旗下的旗艦學生宿舍《啟程居 - 黃竹坑》合作，由2026/27學年起為演藝學院預留宿位供學生使用。🛌🏻🛋️🏨🏡

香港演藝學院副校長（行政）李仲華先生表示：「為學生提供優質住宿，是支持他們在表演藝術學習及個人成長過程中不可或缺的一環。我們深信，安全、舒適及管理完善的居住環境，對學生全面發展至關重要。基於這項理念，我們很高興與啟程居合作，為學生提供校外住宿安排。」

是次長遠合作進一步彰顯香港演藝學院與啟程居攜手支持香港發展成為國際教育樞紐的方向。透過結合演藝學院對培育優秀表演藝術人才的使命，以及啟程居的專業學生住宿平台，雙方期望為本科生及研究生打造卓越的生活與學習環境，提升整體大學體驗。✨✨

The Academy has entered into a Master License Agreement in respect of Stride Wong Chuk Hang, the flagship student accommodation managed by Stride Student Living (Stride), under which HKAPA will secure bed spaces for allocation to its students, commencing from Academic Year 2026/27. 🛌🏻🛋️🏨🏡

Patrick Lee, Deputy Director (Administration) of HKAPA, said, “Providing quality accommodation is an integral part of supporting our students’ performing arts journey and personal development. We believe that a safe, comfortable, and well-managed living environment plays a vital role in helping students thrive. With this commitment in mind, we are delighted to collaborate with Stride for off-campus student accommodation.”

Annie Zhao Yuefan, a graduating School of Dance student from Wuhan, has turned her passion for contemporary dance into a professional career. During her studies, she actively engaged in intercultural exchanges, including an academic exchange and public performances at Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul. 💃🏻🕺

🎯Looking ahead, she aims to explore diverse creative collaborations as she works toward becoming an accomplished professional dancer.

As a third-year Cantonese Opera Music student at the School of Chinese Opera and a professional magician, Lam Wai-hung is dedicated to exploring the integration of traditional Cantonese opera and magic. From participating in a Chinese-Western cross-genre concert to magic routines with dialogue from Cantonese opera, he continually pushes creative boundaries and demonstrates how tradition and innovation can spark exciting new possibilities. ♾️💥

「香港文化與可持續發展會議 2026」即將邁向新里程。今屆會議由香港演藝學院與香港文化及可持續發展中心聯合呈獻及主辦，以「聚力成盟．實踐以行」為主題，將於10月12至13日舉行，延續去年「倡議、實踐與保育」的討論基礎，並進一步推動文化界透過國際聯盟與跨界合作，坐言起行以文化回應可持續發展的需要。

📗會議將涵蓋對話交流、個案分享、實務討論與延伸活動，深入不同文化脈絡，探索各種實踐方式。

《香港文化與可持續發展會議 2026》為香港演藝博覽2026「伙伴節目」之一。

Hong Kong Culture and Sustainability Conference 2026 is set to enter a new chapter. Co-presented and co-organised by The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the Hong Kong Culture and Sustainability Centre, this year’s conference titled “Alliance for Action” will take place on 12–13 October. Building on last year’s discussions on advocacy, practice and conservation, it further encourages the cultural sector to respond to the needs of sustainable development through international alliances and cross-disciplinary collaboration, putting culture into action.

📗The conference will feature dialogues, case sharing, practical discussions and CUSU plus, exploring different cultural contexts and approaches to practice.
