The Faculty of Business and Hospitality at TUS consists of three departments: Business and Management; Accounting and Business Computing, and Hospitality, Tourism & Leisure. The courses offered by the Faculty cover a wide range of areas including accountancy, business, digital marketing, data analytics, and much more. You will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge, develop skills and cultivate
attitudes which will help you to fulfill your potential and maximise your career prospects. New programmes are developed on a regular basis, and recent additions to the range of courses on offer include the Bachelor of Business and Law (Hons), the Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Sport Management (with international placement), the PG Diploma in Tourism Management and Destination Leadership, and the Bachelor of Business (Hons) in International Business. The theoretical and practical content of each course is reviewed regularly to ensure that graduates are prepared for the challenges and opportunities to be expected in a variety of careers at appropriate levels. The ‘ladder’ system of qualifications allows you to progress from higher certificate through to honours Bachelor degree, and on to postgraduate studies. The learning process within the faculty takes place in an environment where you have access to modern resources, expert staff knowledge, links with employers and the latest technology. Opportunities exist to study at partner institutions overseas – either on a short-term or a longer-term basis – which can add to your educational experience at TUS. The enrolment of international students on courses within the faculty also enhances the learning environment. Many of our graduates have become very successful on the national and international stage. We are very proud of their achievements and successes. If you wish to learn more about our programmes of study and related career opportunities, please contact any member of the staff for assistance. You are most welcome to visit the campus; a meeting can be arranged as part of the university's overall focus on student care. Whether you are joining third-level education straight from the Leaving Certificate or as a mature student, the scope for progress is unlimited, provided aptitude and ambition are matched with commitment and effort. The staff of the Faculty of Business and Hospitality wish you every success and will be honoured to facilitate your progress.
