A major new event for the Midlands is coming to TUS Athlone this October 👏

We’re proud to partner with the Midlands branch of the Institute of Guidance Counsellors on the inaugural IGC Midlands College & Careers Fair, bringing together universities, further education providers, apprenticeship organisations and industry in one accessible space for students across the region.

With over 4,000 students already registered to attend the event’s first year, there’s already incredible momentum building around this initiative.

The fair will give students the opportunity to explore pathways, meet exhibitors and have meaningful conversations about their future, all closer to home.

As TUS Athlone marked 25 years of Access support, students and graduates shared powerful stories about overcoming barriers to higher education - from financial pressure and societal stereotypes to rebuilding life in a new country.

Today, thousands of students across TUS continue to receive support through initiatives designed to widen participation and create pathways into higher education for every community.

Because talent and potential exist everywhere. Opportunity should too.
