Collaboration in Practice – Learning without Limits.
Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board - KCETB Carlow Institute recently hosted a large-scale Major Emergency Medical Trauma Exercise, transforming its campus into a highly realistic emergency response environment. Emergency Service Students were supported by Front Line professionals to practice all aspects of trauma response under the guidance of our professional partner organisations.
Designed and developed by Carlow Institute staff in collaboration with Carlow County Fire & Rescue Service, National Ambulance Service (NAS), An Garda Síochána, Carlow County Council, this meticulously planned exercise engaged Carlow Institute Emergency Service Students in a simulated Medical Trauma Response Exercise. The initiative highlights Carlow Institute’s ongoing commitment to equipping learners with practical skills and experience, aligned with the guidance of frontline and allied professionals.
With thanks to our colleagues in County Carlow Fire & Rescue Service, the National Ambulance Service, An Garda Siochana Carlow and Carlow County Council.
