🌟 Over the last few months, our teams have been focused on upskilling as part of the wider PwC Network Learning Experience a global initiative designed to help our people build the skills needed for the future.

With 39% of professional skills expected to be transformed or outdated by 2030 (World Economic Forum), upskilling has never been more important.

We’ve loved seeing colleagues share their goals on our β€œWhat skills will you grow next?” board from public speaking and AI to critical thinking and prioritisation.

By making small, intentional shifts in how we learn, our people are building skills that enable sharper thinking, stronger recommendations and confident leadership through change.

🌍 World Culture Day at PwC was a vibrant celebration of the diverse cultures that enrich our global community.

Last night, we gathered to share stories, wear traditional attire, enjoy games, and taste a variety of global cuisines. It was more than an event; it was an opportunity to connect, learn, and appreciate the diverse perspectives within our teams.

Today, our work placement students from across our offices took a break from their desks to climb Ticknock together. It wasn't just about reaching the top; it was about taking a moment to disconnect and connect with each other.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributes to the success of our graduate programme. From going out on campus and bringing to life the work we do, to recruiting, welcoming, coaching, and supporting them throughout their journey with us.

These awards are a fantastic recognition of the commitment, care, and collaboration across all our teams.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting over 60 students at our Dublin and Cork offices for the second Access Pathways Programme. πŸŽ‰ This programme provided a fantastic opportunity for students to explore personal branding and strengthen their networking skills, alongside gaining firsthand insights into our work through shadowing experiences and panel sessions.

During the day, students heard from from Doone O'Doherty, our Chief People Officer, and Shane O'Regan, our Assurance Partner, offering them a unique perspective on career paths and leadership, as well as an opportunity to understand what they are looking for from students joining one of our programmes.πŸ’‘

The programme concluded with work shadowing PwC employees, giving students a closer look at the diverse range of projects we undertake and allowing them to ask questions directly. 🀝

The event was only made possible by the amazing PwC volunteers and the students who fully embraced the experience. We look forward to staying connected with this group as they explore their career paths.πŸ‘

A look back at our inspiring International Women’s Day 2026 event with Georgie Crawford.

We were honoured to welcome Georgie, founder of The Good Glow podcast, bestselling author, and health coach who shared her powerful journey navigating breast cancer, surrogacy, and personal health challenges.

Georgie reminded us all how resilience, wellbeing, and self-care are essential to thriving both personally and professionally.

This year, our focus was on women’s wellbeing – breaking the silence around topics like menopause, fertility, caregiving and more, and highlighting key supports available for all.

Last week was a busy one for our early careers recruitment team. We kicked off by welcoming 1st and 2nd year students to an insight evening at our Dublin office. It was a chance for them to explore our work, connect with our graduates, and ask questions about their future career paths.

Next, we traveled to Cork for two engaging student conferences with our amazing societies. Maeve O'Donoghue took part to the alumni panel for the UCC Accounting & Finance Society , while Niamh McInerney offered valuable advice on transitioning from university to the workplace at the "Big SIS" conference, hosted by the UCC Women in Business and Leadership Society. Congratulations to both committees for organising such outstanding conferences.

We wrapped up the week by supporting the UCD Careers Network Careers Network "Your Future Skills" programme, where Sarah Jane O'Mahoney and team led a session on developing technological literacy.

These events focus on learning, sharing, and inspiring students as they start exploring their future paths. We're proud of our partnerships with universities and societies and excited to continue our support in the future.
