As the Easter break comes to a close, five Sligo College Staff members are ready to share insights from their enriching Erasmus+ learning journey, having spent a week of their holidays studying in Malta ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡นโœจ
Funded through the Erasmus+ programme, this mobility experience provided a valuable opportunity for collaboration, and the exchange of best practices across European education systems.

Staff members from our Ballinode and Tubbercurry campuses took part in courses focused on AI in education and teacher wellbeing, all set against the stunning backdrop of this beautiful island ๐ŸŒŸ

We look forward to seeing how this Erasmus+ experience will enhance teaching and learning across our college community and support our ongoing commitment to innovation and wellbeing.
Well done to all involved ๐Ÿ‘

Our Tourism and Art students from Sligo College of FET had an incredible learning experience this week with a visit to the Titanic Quarter and Art Galleries in Belfast ๐Ÿšข

Exploring this iconic destination, students gained valuable insights into the story of the RMS Titanic โ€” from its design and construction to its historic voyage and legacy. They also deepened their understanding of heritage tourism, visitor experience design, and how world-class attractions engage audiences through storytelling and immersive exhibits.

The trip offered a fantastic opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world tourism practices, while also experiencing one of Irelandโ€™s most significant cultural and historical sites.

Well done to all involved for making the most of this enriching experience ๐Ÿ‘
