WCFE welcomes you to our Neuroinclusive Open Evening on 5th November between 6pm and 7.30pm.
This evening will give you time to meet staff and explore the college on your terms, with none of the hustle and bustle of the main Open Day on the 6th.
Quiet, calm and very interesting chats, with lots of tea and biscuits. Take in the college when it's quiet with our support team here to welcome you.
No need to book in, just drop in. Like we said..a very chill and relaxed event.

🌿 Learning brought to life!

Our Early Learning and Care Year 1 students enjoyed a wonderful visit to Carraig Briste & Killegney Early Years, an award-winning early years provider in County Wexford.

Orla Doyle and her team generously opened their doors and shared their knowledge and expertise, giving our students the opportunity to see slow pedagogy, Aistear and Síolta in practice. It was inspiring to observe an approach that gives children time to explore, play and learn at their own pace.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone at CarraigBriste & Killegney for your warm welcome and such a valuable learning experience for us all. You helped our students connect classroom learning with everyday practice, and the sunshine made a lovely day even brighter! ☀️🌿💚

🇮🇪🇳🇱 Our Erasmus guests from Drenthe College, Netherlands, had the opportunity to visit both Waterford Skin & Laser Clinic and Beautorium Training Academy during the week, to get a behind-the-scenes insight into the beauty, skincare and aesthetics industry in Ireland.
Owner and lead educator, Joanne Quinn Geoghegan, shared her industry knowledge and experience, introducing the students to some of the advanced technologies and treatments available in her clinic, followed by live demonstrations at the training academy.
It was a fantastic opportunity to connect education with industry for our visitors.
Joanne is a former student of WCFE and is now recognised as one of the leading experts in advanced beauty and skincare treatments in Ireland.

WCFE welcomed Donal Keys, Joint Chair of WorldSkills Ireland today. Mr Keys came to congratulate our WorldSkills winner, Simon Smith, on his exceptional performance in the Hairdressing category last month. Mr. Keys also praised the WCFE Hairdressing Department and its commitment to excellence and innovation in skills training.
