🏆 Team Recognition Award – Malta School Games 🏆
The Malta School Games team is truly honoured to have received the Team Recognition Award during the Public Service Awards in recognition of our work in delivering the Malta School Games.
This award is a reflection of the passion, dedication, and commitment shown by the entire team throughout every stage of the journey – from the initial planning and preparation to the successful ex*****on of the Games. Such an achievement can only be accomplished by a team that shares a genuine passion for sport and a common vision of creating a lasting positive impact on the wellbeing and development of our students.
The Malta School Games were never intended to be just a sporting event. Through initiatives such as the Torch Relay and the Opening Ceremony, we sought to create opportunities for all students to participate and shine. These events allowed us to celebrate not only sporting talent but also students who excel in other areas, including the performing arts, making the Games a truly inclusive national celebration.
The success of the Malta School Games would not have been possible without the support and belief of so many people who shared our vision. A heartfelt thank you goes to the Ministry for Education and Sport for its continued backing, the Director General of DCLE for believing in this project from the very beginning, the Heads of College Network who embraced and championed this initiative, all participating schools, the educators who dedicated their time to training and supporting students, and the parents who encouraged their children to take part.
Most importantly, thank you to our students. Your enthusiasm, commitment, determination, and energy transformed an idea into a reality. This award belongs to you just as much as it belongs to us, because together we are one team.
To the dreamers and the believers, to DCLE, to every school community, and to the Malta School Games team – thank you. This recognition will inspire us to continue growing, improving, and creating even more opportunities for our students in the years to come.
