🌿💚 A beautiful day of learning, laughter and unforgettable memories! 💚🌿

Today, our lovely Year 7.10 students enjoyed a special outing to L-Arka ta’ Noe’ in Siġġiewi! 🐾🌸

It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to step outside the classroom, discover new things, enjoy meaningful experiences and, most importantly, share precious moments together. Their smiles, laughter and enthusiasm made the day even more special! 🥰✨

Experiences like these remind us that learning is not only about books and lessons, but also about exploring, connecting with others, appreciating the world around us and creating memories that will stay with us for years to come. 💕🌿

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this outing possible and to our wonderful students for making the day so enjoyable with their lovely energy and cheerful spirits! ❤️

Attività biex titqajjem kuxjenza dwar ADHD

Illum, It-Tlieta, 27 ta’ Ottubru 2026, fl-Iskola Medja Maria Goretti, Ħal Tarxien, ġiet organizzata attività fl-okkażjoni tax-Xahar iddedikat għall-għarfien dwar l-ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).

Matul l-attività, intwera filmat animat li spjega b’mod sempliċi u interessanti l-esperjenzi u l-isfidi li jaffaċċjaw persuni bl-ADHD. L-għan kien li l-istudenti jifhmu aħjar din il-kundizzjoni u jrawmu aktar empatija, rispett u inklużjoni.

Wara l-filmat, l-istudenti, lebsin il-kulur oranġjo bħala simbolu ta’ għarfien dwar l-ADHD, iffurmaw katina umana bħala turija ta’ solidarjetà u għaqda.

Din l-attività serviet biex tqajjem aktar kuxjenza fost l-istudenti dwar l-importanza li naċċettaw u nirrispettaw id-differenzi ta’ bejnietna.

ADHD Awareness Activity

Today, Tuesday, 27 October 2026, an activity was organised at Maria Goretti Middle School, Tarxien, to mark ADHD Awareness Month (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).

During the activity, students watched an animated video that explained, in a simple and engaging way, the experiences and challenges faced by people with ADHD. The aim was to help students better understand this condition while promoting empathy, respect and inclusion.

Following the video, students dressed in orange, a colour symbolising ADHD awareness, formed a human chain as a sign of solidarity and unity.

This activity helped raise awareness among students about the importance of accepting, understanding and respecting individual differences.

L-Iskola Tagħna Tfakkar Jum il-Poeta Nazzjonali Dun Karm Psaila 📚🇲🇹

Nhar il-Ġimgħa, 23 ta’ Ottubru 2026, l-Iskola Medja Maria Goretti, Ħal Tarxien, fakkret Jum il-Poeta Nazzjonali Dun Karm Psaila permezz ta’ assemblea speċjali mtellgħa minn grupp ta’ studenti tal-klassi 8.1.

Matul din l-attività, l-istudenti ħadu lil dawk preżenti fi vjaġġ fil-ħajja u l-ħidma letterarja ta’ Dun Karm permezz ta’ filmat bijografiku u qari ta’ poeżiji magħrufa tiegħu. Ingħatat ukoll importanza lill-imħabba li l-poeta kellu lejn ilsienna u lejn pajjiżna.

L-assemblea ntemmet b’mument ta’ għaqda u patrijottiżmu bid-daqq tal-Innu Malti, miktub mill-istess Dun Karm Psaila.

👏 Prosit lill-istudenti kollha li ħadu sehem u li, permezz tal-parteċipazzjoni tagħhom, taw ġieħ lil waħda mill-aktar personalitajiet importanti fil-qasam tal-letteratura Maltija.

Attivitajiet bħal dawn ikomplu jsaħħu fost l-istudenti tagħna l-għarfien u l-apprezzament tal-lingwa Maltija, tal-letteratura u tal-wirt kulturali ta’ pajjiżna.

Our School Commemorates National Poet Dun Karm Psaila 📚🇲🇹

On Friday, 23rd October 2026, Maria Goretti Middle School, Tarxien, commemorated Malta’s National Poet, Dun Karm Psaila, through a special assembly presented by a group of Year 8 students from Class 8.1.

During the assembly, students took the audience on a journey through the life and literary achievements of Dun Karm by presenting a biographical video and reciting some of his poems. Special emphasis was placed on the poet’s deep love for the Maltese language, culture and national identity.

The assembly concluded with the playing of the Maltese National Anthem, written by Dun Karm Psaila himself.

👏 Well done to all the students who participated and contributed towards making this commemoration a meaningful and memorable occasion!

Activities such as these help our students develop a deeper appreciation of the Maltese language, literature and the rich cultural heritage of our islands.
