Today we share with you the realisation of an exciting project for our school community - the Creative Learning Hub. This is a space designed to inspire creativity, collaboration, and a love for learning.
What was once a tired and underused foyer has been transformed into a vibrant, welcoming environment at the heart of our school, reflecting our commitment to innovation and student engagement.
More than just a renovated area, the Creative Learning Hub reimagines how and where learning can take place. Designed as a flexible, multipurpose environment, the space encourages interaction, movement, teamwork, and creative expression. Equipped with modern resources, including an interactive panel, reading materials, and educational games, the hub supports a wide range of activities such as group work, presentations, drama, creative writing, shared reading, and interactive learning experiences.
The informal and adaptable nature of the hub provides students with opportunities to learn in a more relaxed and engaging setting beyond the traditional classroom. It also serves as a versatile space for midday break clubs, replacement lessons, staff meetings, exhibitions, and even as a calming area when needed. Through this initiative, we aim to nurture essential 21st-century skills including creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.
The Creative Learning Hub is a shared environment that strengthens our school community and opens new possibilities for learning, growth, and innovation.
This project is funded through the “Open Horizons: Education through Indoor and Outdoor Learning Scheme”, part of the EDU Infrastructure Programme and aligned with Measure 1.14 of the National Education Strategy.
