We have successfully completed the third round of the Mobile Welcome Point action!👥️
Our Welcome Point travelled from one faculty to another to meet incoming international students, offering them practical information✅️, support🫂 and advice📣 about studying, working and living within our university community.

On October 12, 2026, the first "International Workshop of Innovation" took place at the Lublin University of Technology, organized as part of the Euraxess AIM (Attracting International Minds – Lublin NAWA Euraxess Network) project.

OIE invited young international researchers from the project's partner institutions: the Lublin University of Technology, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, and the University of Life Sciences in Lublin.

During the interdisciplinary workshop led by Professor Tomasz Klepka from the Department of Technology and Polymer Processing, participants explored the differences between a patent and an innovation and learned how to assess the potential of new solutions. The agenda also covered the evaluation of process, product, and marketing innovations, as well as their significance for the advancement of science and the economy. The practical segment involved analyzing the creation of new products and processes—tracing the journey from the initial idea through development and evaluation to potential implementation. The workshop provided an excellent opportunity for exchanging experiences and fostering collaboration among researchers from diverse countries and disciplines.

“International Workshop of Innovation” is a series of lectures and workshops dedicated to international researchers and doctoral students from universities in Lublin, focusing on a practical approach to innovation.
Participants will explore the differences between patents and innovations and learn how to assess the potential of new solutions. Particular attention will be paid to the evaluation of process, product, and marketing innovations, as well as their significance for the advancement of science and the economy.
During hands-on workshops, participants will analyze the creation of new products and processes—from the initial idea through development and assessment to potential implementation.
The sessions will also provide a platform for exchanging experiences and fostering collaboration among researchers from diverse countries and disciplines.
