Zeszły tydzień w SGH upłynął pod znakiem internacjonalizacji!
Dzięki programowi Erasmus+ już kolejny raz mieliśmy możliwość zorganizowania International Staff Training Week, 5-dniowego programu dla pracowników naszych uczelni partnerskich. W jesiennej edycji wzięli udział uczestnicy z Austrii, Kanady, Francji, Libanu, Mauritiusu, Mołdawii, Rumunii i Tajlandii, Tanzanii i Urugwaju ✈️🌍
Nasi goście mieli okazję przedyskutować kwestie związane ze współpracą międzynarodową, jak wymiana studentów i pracowników, rola międzynarodowych aliansów, uatrakcyjnianie oferty uczelni dla studentów zagranicznych.
Nie zabrakło też czasu na poznanie polskiej kultury – spacer po jesiennej Warszawie i warsztaty rękodzieła w Karolinie były strzałem w dziesiątkę! 🍂🇵🇱
Event był też dla naszych gości znakomitą okazją do bliższego poznania się wzajemnie i zaprezentowania swoich uczelni oraz do networkingu z pracownikami SGH.
Z niecierpliwością czekamy na kolejne edycje wydarzenia!

Last week at SGH was all about !
Thanks to the + program, we once again had the opportunity to organize International Staff Training Week - a 5-day program for employees of our partner universities. The autumn edition was attended by participants from Austria, Canada, France, Lebanon, Mauritius, Moldova, Romania, Thailand, Tanzania, and Uruguay ✈️🌍
Our guests had the opportunity to discuss issues related to international cooperation, including student and staff exchanges, the role of international alliances, and enhancing the university's appeal to foreign students.
There was also time to learn about Polish culture – a walk around autumn Warsaw and handicraft workshops in Karolina were a great success! 🍂🇵🇱
The event was also an excellent opportunity for our guests to get to know each other better, present their universities, and network with SGH staff.
We look forward to future editions of the event!

🇵🇱🤝🇻🇳 Building bridges between Poland and Vietnam!

This week, an SGH Warsaw School of Economics delegation consisting of SGH Chancellor and SGH International Centre representatives is visiting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to strengthen academic and institutional partnerships, as well as to participate in the conference.

On our first day in Hanoi, we had the honour and pleasure of meeting H.E. Joanna Skoczek, Poland’s Ambassador to Vietnam, to discuss future collaboration opportunities. This meeting was followed by the visit at the UEB - VNU (VNU University of Economics and Business) which is our partner university.

While still in Hanoi, we met with authorities of the Foreign Trade University to discuss potential collaboration opportunities between SGH and this renowned university. Follow us for more updates on that.

We are very grateful for receiving the invitation to join the 8th VIET-POL Conference (https://vietpol.humg.edu.vn/) at Trường Đại học Mỏ - Địa chất (Hanoi University of Mining and Geology - HUMG), co-organized by Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza w Krakowie and . The conference is a great result of a long-standing academic cooperation between AGH and HUMG. We're grateful for warm welcome and hospitality as well as the possibility to meet with HUMG's president, Prof. Tran Thanh Hai.


In Ho Chi Minh City, we have visited the Trường Đại học Bách khoa - ĐH Quốc gia TP.HCM (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology) and the wonderful students of University of Economics and Law gave us an amazing tour of Saigon. Thi was studying at SGH within the ERASMUS+ program and Hung will be coming for exchange in Poland next year 😍

We’re leaving Vietnam with lots of great memories as well as motivated and energized to deepen the existing collaborations and create new ones. And we hope to be back there soon!

Miło nam poinformować, że SGH otrzymała dofinansowanie w konkursie NAWA „Wsparcie Uniwersytetów Europejskich – nabór 2025” na realizację projektu „CIVICA 4All: Inkluzywność, Dostępność i Aktywność w Uniwersytetach Europejskich”.
Projekt wzmocni dostępność dydaktyki i badań, a także integrację społeczności sojuszu CIVICA poprzez wydarzenia sportowo-kulturalne, dostępne również dla osób z niepełnosprawnościami. Dzięki temu SGH rozwija umiędzynarodowienie, różnorodność i inkluzywność w szkolnictwie wyższym.

Realizacja projektu to wspólne działanie Biura ds. Dostępności i Wsparcia Osób z Niepełnosprawnościami, Katedry Polityki Społecznej, Centrum Współpracy Międzynarodowej oraz Centrum Wychowania Fizycznego i Sportu.

We are pleased to announce that SGH Warsaw School of Economics has received funding in the NAWA competition “Support for European Universities – 2025 call” to implement the project “CIVICA 4All: Inclusiveness, Accessibility and Engagement in European Universities.”

The project will enhance the accessibility of teaching and research, while strengthening community integration within the CIVICA alliance through cultural and sports events inclusive for students and staff, including people with disabilities and diverse needs. It will also foster internationalization, diversity, and inclusiveness in higher education.

The initiative is carried out by the Office of Accessibility and Support for People with Disabilities, Department of Social Policy, International Centre and Physical Education and Sport.

To help kick off their journey in Poland, our SGH International, team has organized a 3-day Orientation Week with:

🌍 This week, the SGH International of SGH Warsaw School of Economics is at the EAIE European Association for International Education Annual Conference in Gothenburg – and we’re here in a double role:�✨ as a proud member of – The European University of Social Sciences�🇵🇱 and as part of the Polish booth, organized by NAWA Narodowa Agencja Wymiany Akademickiej (Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange).
It’s inspiring to see how our involvement in the European Universities Initiative continues to grow! We’re preparing for the next stage of deeper cooperation, while also connecting with both current and future partners here at the Polish booth.
💡 The conference is always an intense but rewarding week – full of fresh ideas, new collaborations, and the great energy of the international education community.

✨ We are excited to host the 2nd edition of the European Universities Student and Alumni Forum (EUSAF) at SGH International / SGH Warsaw School of Economics, co-organized together with Erasmus Student Network (ESN).

is part of the EUC Voices project, funded by the Erasmus+ KA2 programme. From Thursday to Saturday, our campus in Warsaw became a meeting point for Student Ambassadors representing almost 50 European University Alliances 🇪🇺.

A highlight of the welcome session was the presentation by Director Katarzyna Aleksy from Erasmus+ Polska (Fundacja Rozwoju Systemu Edukacji) on the Polish Presidency in the Council of the European Union, with a special focus on Youth – an inspiring perspective for all participants 🌍✨.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to share experiences, exchange ideas, and strengthen the vibrant network that connects students and alumni across Europe. We can’t wait to see the energy, creativity, and inspiration that this community will bring together! 💡🤝
