We are pleased to invite you to a seminar by Professor Daniel Onofrei (University of Houston, USA): โOptimization, Inverse Problems, and Control in Electromagnetic Field Modeling: A Confluence of Ideasโ - ๐ Monday, May 25, 4:00 PM โ Senate Hall
The presentation will explore mathematical and computational approaches to electromagnetic field modeling in near-field, intermediate-field, and far-field regimes, together with applications in advanced communications, radiation-pattern control, radar-signature reduction, and electromagnetic false-target generation.
Professor Onofreiโs research lies at the intersection of mathematics, electromagnetics, and acoustics, with contributions relevant to antenna design, wave propagation control, radar and sonar technologies, and communication systems. His work has been supported by major U.S. research institutions, including the Army Research Office, the Office of Naval Research, and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research.
