SYNERGIES IN COMMUNICATION · DAY ONE
A day of ideas, dialogue and new perspectives. ✨
The first day of Synergies in Communication Conference brought together voices from academia and beyond, opening space for meaningful conversations, shared knowledge and new connections.
We were honored to have the welcome and opening remarks delivered by Abdi Hassan, British Council Country Director for Romania & Bulgaria; Alina-Mihaela Dima, Vice-Rector of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies; Ioan-Radu Petrariu, Dean of the Faculty of International Business and Economics; and Anca-Teodora Şerban-Oprescu, Head of the Department of Modern Languages and Business Communication.
The conference also welcomed our distinguished plenary speakers: Alina Dolea (Bournemouth University, UK), Mikel W. Cole (University of Houston, USA), Mihaela Gazioglu (Westfield State University, Massachusetts, USA), and Raymond Maiorescu (Northwestern Kellogg School of Business | Stanford Online, USA).
Their presence and contributions helped set the tone for an inspiring academic gathering, celebrating the power of synergies across languages, cultures and disciplines.
And this is only the beginning. Stay tuned for more moments from the conference! 📸
